Nominations are now open!

It’s very close to midnight, so here I am, getting things ready to go for the nominations. Please check out the categories and rules, then head over to the page titled “Nominate” and send in your choices. Before you do, here are two important things to remember:

Please make sure you are nominating stories in the ‘right’ categories. That means, please make sure that they actually fit in the categories you are putting them in. I always consult with the authors when I’m unsure, and I trust their judgment about their stories. If you have any questions, please send me an email and I can clarify where a story belongs or why I didn’t count your nomination of it.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly…

Do not send in duplicate nominations! You are able to fill out the form more than once, but this is to allow for any stories you might have forgotten and want to go back and add in. It is not to allow anyone to stuff the ballot box. If I believe you’ve submitted duplicates in error, I will simply not count them. If I believe it was done on purpose, in a deceptive way, I will not count them the first time. The second time, I will not count any of your nominations. If it occurs a third time, it may result in banning and/or losing all of your nominations (even those sent in by others).
